Full Biography of Michael Josephson (2023)

Michael Josephson is an internationally recognized and influential advocate for character education and ethical behavior for young people in business, government, law enforcement, journalism, sports, health, and law. He is considered by many to be primarily responsible for the revitalization and professionalization of character education in schools and youth organizations.

In 1987, after a distinguished 20-year career as a law professor and CEO of a leading legal education firm (Josephson Bar Review Center), he resigned as a professor and sold his firm to form the Joseph & Edna Josephson Institute of Ethics, a non-profit organization dedicated to the name in honor of his parents. Mister. Josephson served without salary as the institute's president. All proceeds from lectures and consultations from him go to the institute.
